Art of Paper Quilling
Paper quilling is an art form that involves the use of narrow strips of paper that are rolled, shaped and glued together to create different types of decorative designs. The art of paper quilling has been around for a long time – sequestered nuns as well as genteel ‘ladies of leisure’ used their dexterous fingers to create paper quilled items. Soon the quilling art spread to people from all walks of life who found quilling enjoyable and easy to learn. The craft has gone through many transformations over the years, using new techniques, styles and materials.
Amee Thakkar, accredited and experienced art teacher in Mumbai, shows you how to use the art of paper quilling to create a wide and varied canvas of designs.
